Opening of the Marshal’s Office in Szczecin

We are proud to announce the grand opening of the consolidated headquarters of the Marshal’s Office in Szczecin.

The Federacyjne Biuro Architektoniczne (Federation Architectural Office) studio, composed of:
Marcin Jackowiak, Krzysztof Sokołowski, Jakub Czujkowski, Magdalena Łukowska,

acting on behalf of the General Contractor, Mostostal Warszawa SA, assumed authorial supervision of the investment under the design-build procedure (the initial construction design was prepared by PAS Projekt Sp. z o.o.). We developed an alternative construction design and complete detailed designs for the reconstruction and expansion of the existing building on Piłsudskiego Street and the construction of a new passive house on Mazowiecka Street, including landscaping.

We were responsible for preparing the architectural designs and full interdisciplinary coordination, and also provided ongoing authorial supervision on site.
The completed buildings received BREEAM certification.

The office building on Mazowiecka Street Mazowiecka also received a certificate from the prestigious PASSIVHAUS Institute in Darmstadt.

As part of the contract, we developed and coordinated 3D documentation using BIM technology, including as-built documentation.

We designed all the interior designs for the existing building, including the former Delfin Cinema auditorium, which, along with the newly constructed catering facilities, now serves as the main conference and banquet hall of the Marshal’s Office.

In addition to all the common areas, in the new passive building, we had the pleasure of designing the interiors of the office spaces, including the Marshal’s and Board Members’ offices, and, of particular pride, the representative, publicly accessible ATRIUM, in which we incorporated modern means of expression such as a green wall, a water cascade, green islands, and spatial 3D cladding. To complement the interior design, we also developed a complete VISUAL IDENTIFICATION in the form of a system of door and information signs combined with a color scheme distinguishing individual floors.

A GREEN GARDEN was created on the roof of the passive building, complete with a viewing platform offering panoramic views of Szczecin.
